Icebergs Trip

Two of the ocean currents which have an effect on Newfoundland and Labrador’s climate are the Gulf Stream Current and the North Atlantic Current.  Icebergs from the Arctic Circle follow a path of the North Atlantic Current, which brings them along the coastline of North eastern Newfoundland through a part of the ocean referred to as Iceberg Alley.

Grosmorne Flights will bring you across the Northern Peninsula to the North Eastern Coast of Newfoundland and along Iceberg Alley in search of icebergs.

Gros Morne Trip

Gros Morne Outfitters and Tours home base is in Portland Creek in Gros Morne National Park. The Gros Morne trip will give you a scenic aerial view of Gros Morne National Park and the Great Northern Peninsula.  Take a flight through Western Brook Gorge, the Tablelands, along the coastline of Gros Morne National Park and north along the coastline of the Great Northern Peninsula.  From the Northern tip, the tour will turn south and follow the Appalachian  Mountains back to home base in Gros Morne National Park.
